Each Bold and Fearless

Craig started out his working life as a stunt double for Ricky Schroder in Silver Spoons. After his short stint in Hollywood, Craig thought he found his calling in life as a level 9 dark elf. Too tall to elf properly, he looked for something bigger and better. Reading the want ads of a local paper, Craig found an ad for a little printing company in Bensenville. Craig knew, on that fateful day in June of 1991, that he was destined for a career in printing. He worked in the camera department at nights, imposing books and shooting halftones. By the end of 1992, Craig had moved his way up to be a page assembler on Scitex and then made his way to a Mac. In 1999, Craig was promoted to the exalted position of Prepress Manager.

In 2006, Craig was tapped to assist on a new and exciting mission: code name "All Out." JB challenged Craig "to build the biggest and baddest prepress in the world". Craig succeeded and now rules the lands of prepress and IT.

The year is 1991. Congress authorizes the use of military force to liberate Kuwait. The Chicago Bulls win their first NBA championship. Snap bracelets are all the rage. And Bob begins his career in the print industry by working for Multiple Images Printing.

Bob started by contacting film and proofing. He then became a full-time proofer, color correction-er, and scanning operator. After he developed "scanner's elbow", Bob flirted with customer service and production, only to settle down with sales five years later.

Bob's current gig is Sales Executive. He also moonlights at The Laugh Sweatshop Tuesday nights. Come for Bob—stay for the ten cent wings!

J.B. considered a career with the carnival, but upon discovering his full set of pearly whites ruled that out, he decided the print industry was the way to go. J.B. grew up in the print world, working for his family business, at Multiple Images Printing, Inc. He learned the ropes as a production coordinator and worked his way all the way up to plant manager. J.B. was responsible for managing operations during the company's largest growth period—$2.7 million in 1993, to $12 million in 1999. He was promoted to vice president in 1999.

With over 21 years of industry experience under his belt, J.B. can say that he knows all the ins and outs of the business—equipment, production, technology, pricing, sales, and customer service. J.B. is now the President of All Out Print Communications (though he prefers the title "Ruler of All That He Sees"). J.B. is happily married and is the proud wrangler of three sons. Scientists hypothesize that stepping inside his house is the equivalent to taking a bath in testosterone. His interests include managing and growing his company, long walks on the beach and printing really, really big ideas.

Dan started his career in the print industry back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth (also known as the late eighties). He began as a proof maker and then moved to film etching and film dry color correction. He next trained to and became a color scanner operator. Following several years of running a color scanner—and one year on the juggling circuit Dan calls his "Lost Year"—he learned color correction and retouching on computer. When computers became fast enough for page assembly, Dan moved into page assembly. And finally, after learning Pre-press workflow, he took his gigantic mass of accumulated knowledge and migrated into Sales, where he now spends all of his time.

Gordon started his graphic arts profession with a passion that still exists today. Gordon credits his knowledge and skills to the individuals that taught him the "old school methods". He started in the finishing end of the business and then became the "big man" (pressman)—a feat Gordon maintains was accomplished without the help of steroids. He surrounded himself with professionals and soaked up their knowledge on just about everything, including folding, die cutting, U.V. coating, canvas, thermocromatic inks, chemistry, and how to grill the perfect burger. Following his many years in the trenches, Gordon worked as plant manager until becoming the V.P. of Operations. Gordon loves his job and hopes his next 20 years in the business are as exciting as the last.
